Hi,

I would like to have SSL encryption options.
SSL should not be enabled for all pages rather for pages where the user is giving input.

- Login forms
- Register Forms
- User details
- Admin Module
- Text input (Create new content in general)

At the moment the site is only able to have SSL encryption enabled in general or it is completely switched off.

I think it shouldn’t be too difficult to have that changed.

There should be an option in the global config, where I can switch SSL on. If this option is enabled, the Mambo CMS should add the https header to all sites where a user interaction is expected (see above list).

For those who have SSL enabeled on their webserver this could be a great benefit.
The Mambo CMS also should redirect the user to the login page, if the user tries to open content for registered users.
At the moment the user just sees a message, that he has to log in. But you still have to go back to the home page and log in manually.
In case I found some content via search, this is a bit of a pity since I have to search again after I logged in.

On my website I have a Knowledge Base which is for registered users only available, but as non registered user you can search for the content.

If there are other Mambo users who agree that this is a beneficial add on, please vote.

Best Regards

Axel
