The Remember Me checkbox on the login page doesnt work. It doesnt stay checked and does not remember the login info.

2009-05-29: A task closure has been requested. Reason for request: Appears to be a server and/or browser issue. Not able to be reproduced.

this a new install or an old one that is suddenly exhibiting this
this happening with more than one browser? Are cookies enabled on the browser?

I noticed that this task is reported for Mambo 4.5.x, could any one to reproduce this behavior in Mambo 4.6.5 ?

On the forum thread it was reported that he was using Mambo 4.6.5. The site was also using ReMOSitory, but no details were given.

PHP Version: 4.4.0
Web Server: Apache

Mambo Version: Mambo 4.6.5 Stable [ Jupiter ] 20-Jun-2008 00:00 GMT

However, the behaviour he was reporting was not normal Mambo behaviour. His cookies were persisting for days, yet the "remember me" was not working correctly (it worked if the browser was refreshed, but not on first load).

Nobody else has reported problems with the login "remember me" & I was unable to reproduce this. Suggest we close the ticket.
