Mambo Steering CommitteeThe Mambo Steering Committee (MSC) is a group comprised of the leaders of the various teams that make up Team Mambo. The Team Leaders are elected by the Members of each individual team. In addition to helping with coordination of the Teams' activities, the Team Leaders also meet regularly to help with the planning and overall coordination of the Mambo Project. It is the MSC that supervises the day-to-day development activities and formulates priorities and long term goals of the project itself, in consultation with the members of Team Mambo and with the advice of the Board of Directors of the Mambo Foundation. There is a clear separation of roles within Mambo. The Mambo Foundation, which is the non-profit foundation set up to protect and serve the project, is a governance body that takes care of legal and policy matters. The Mambo Steering Committee, headed up the the Project Leader, is responsible for all aspects of the software development and project management. You can read more about how Mambo separates governance and management here. For an up-to-date list of the Mambo team leaders, please visit the Contributing to Mambo information on our wiki. |
