Registering on Mambo-code.org

Create a user account on the Mambo code forge using an appropriate username. You will receive a password and will need to confirm your account details at the end of the Mambo-code.org registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and for all activities that occur through your account. You agree to immediately notify the Mambo Foundation of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. The Mambo Foundation, Inc ("the Foundation") will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to provide accurate information or to keep your password secure.

NOTE: Your real name must be given in your account profile.

The Mambo Foundation handles registration data in accordance with the Foundation's Privacy PStatement.

In relation to Mambo-code.org, "Content" means any text, data, software, music, sound, photograph, graphic, video, message, or material, whether publicly posted, or privately transmitted via mambo-code.org. You agree that you are responsible for your own conduct and any Content that you or anyone using your account creates, transmits or displays when on mambo-code.org and for any consequences thereof.

When you create or make available Content on Mambo-code.org, you thereby represent and warrant that:

(a) you own or have sufficient rights to post your Content on Mambo-code.org;

(b) the posting of your Content on or through on Mambo-code.org does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person;

(c) you have fully complied with any third-party licenses relating to your Content;

(d) you have read, understand, and accepted the Mambo Licensing Guidelines;

(e) your Content does not contain any viruses, worms, Trojan horses, malicious code or other harmful or destructive data or routines;

(f) your Content does not constitute, contain, install or attempt to install or promote spyware, malware or other illicit computer code, whether on the Mambo Foundation web sites or others computers or equipment;

(g) your Content is not obscene, lewd, harassing, libelous or slanderous, does not advocate illegal activities, does not incite racial or religious hatred, does not incite, encourage or threaten immediate physical harm against another, does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or rule, and does not violate the privacy rights of any third party;

(h) your Content does not contain material that solicits personal information from anyone under 18 or exploit people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner, and does not violate any national, federal or state law concerning child pornography or otherwise intended to protect the health and wellbeing of minors;

(i) your Content does not violate any state, federal or national law designated to regulate electronic advertising;

(j) your Content does not otherwise violate, or link to material that violates any provision of this Agreement.

You agree that the Foundation has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any Content or other communications maintained or transmitted on Mambo-code.org. While the Foundation will use reasonable efforts to back up site data and make such data available in the event of loss or deletion, the Foundation has no responsibility or liability and makes no warranties or claims regarding the storage of any communications or Content maintained or transmitted on Mambo-code.org

Using the Mambo Code Forge

By operating the Mambo-code.org web site, the Mambo Foundation does not represent or imply that the Mambo Foundation endorses any content available on or linked to by the web site, including without limitation content hosted on third party web sites, or that the Mambo Foundation believes any project content to be accurate, useful or non-harmful.
