Welcome to The Source. The Source of what, you might ask? The Source of All Things Mambo. This website is an official publication of the Mambo Foundation and the webmaster duties here are performed by the Mambo Steering Committee (MSC).

We've built this site to be the home of the Mambo Core and other official information and materials from the Mambo Foundation. Here you will find not only the most recent version of  Mambo, the award-winning Open Source content management system, but also related files and resources, including Mambo logos, banners, and materials to help our members and clients worldwide.

Yes, that's right, we said "clients." Strange word to be coming from an Open Source community? We don't think so. In fact, we are out to prove that an all volunteer Open Source project can be as professional and as reliable as any traditional software model. This site is one of our latest steps and is intended to help support our developers and to give our clients peace of mind. When you download files from The Source you can be sure that the files are up to date, free of spyware, trojans and other viruses, and are fully authorized, free Open Source software.
